As the tennis season comes to an end, we would like to “thank” the people that have helped us.

We must say thank you to Kevin Misaki and Marla Spencer for providing water and Gatorade for every Maui trip. To Marla Spencer for getting the Puunene Armory, providing food for the team, and being there for the MIL Tournament. To Shane and Lei Mokiao for the van usage at the MIL tournament and all of their support throughout the season. To Jon and Lynn Mikami for the monetary donation and their countless hours working with the team in their spare time. To Bill and Lynn Vogt for the practice balls.

To Tom Patrick for providing our team with a few tennis tips and the coverage in The Molokai Times. To Robert Takeo, Bobby Ribao, Paula Friel and Tomo Fujitani for putting up with us, helping us to understand what coaching is all about and how academics can affect our team.

To the community for buying our World’s Finest Candies for our fundraising efforts. To Misaki’s Store for allowing us to sell the candies in front of their store. To the parents of the tennis team for allowing your child to participate in this tennis season.

And last, but not least, the boys and girls of the tennis team for giving us the opportunity to be their coaches for this tennis season. It has certainly been a learning experience that we have enjoyed even if we had sleepless nights on our Maui trips.

We would like to congratulate Tierra Madani for making the state tournament to be held in Kona, Hawaii on May 7-10. Good Luck, Tierra!
